Pickwell Barton Cottage is award winning and sits in the most stunning location.

The Cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people.  Once the old Coach house, it nestles into the hill, sitting just below the main farmhouse in its own private setting.  The farm has been run by our family for over 100 years and overlooks the fabulous beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough. We have retained many of the building’s original features, enchanting oak beans and other lovely unique quirky bits.

Step outside this award-winning cottage and enjoy a stunning walk through our working sheep farm down to the world-famous Woolacombe beach! There is direct private access to the beach, that is just a short amble through a couple of our farm’s fields. This lovely cottage is pet free and non-smoking and has a private courtyard, beautiful lawn, patio, with comfy outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ bordered by mature garden offering a secluded, cosy, peaceful and relaxing setting.

Spacious rooms offering everything for today’s multi – generational family, equipped to a very high standard, with parking space for 3 cars. We want your stay with us to be very special and so we have Included in your booking the following. The beds are all made up ready for your arrival and included for your stay are towels, electricity, heating, and even fibre WIFI!  Along with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and a delicious welcome hamper, full of local goodies!  A booking with us also gives you complimentary parking at Putsborough Sands!  The AA have awarded us “4 gold stars” for quality and service for the eighth year in succession!

Pickwell Barton Cottage - Perfect for 2,4 or 6 people

This is the perfect bolthole, as a romantic hide-away, fun family break or an amazing holiday. The region has something for everyone, world recognised surfing beaches, Crabbing, incredible walks for all ages. The cottage has 3 bedrooms upstairs, two offering king-size beds and a twin (can be zip and linked for a super-king)!  A family shower room with WC.  The ground floor boasts a lovely farmhouse kitchen, with a pantry off it and a door that opens onto the patio and beautiful lawn garden.  A cosy lounge with wood burner, ideal for relaxing by after a day of adventure.  It also has a 42”TV and DVD player, with comfy seating to sink into. The downstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath, lavatory and sink.  A third WC with a cloakroom sink.  Just outside the cottage door you have your own games room, with a darts board (plus children’s darts), table-tennis (balls and bats provided), pool table, and an indoor skittle alley. The cottage also has a large utility/cloakroom with space for coats, surfboards, wellies, walking boots and lots more.  We also offer a barn to store your bikes and carriers too.
