Mortehoe Museum have arranged two author talks coming up in September.
The first is by Colin Smith at Woolacombe Village Hall on Tuesday 3rd September at 2.30pm ... Offering a personal account of one man’s journey from HMS Victory to being an early recruit of the SAS/SBS. The book chronicles lived experiences in some of the most celebrated SAS battles of World War Two, whilst exploring the lasting impact of the Second World War. Wings But No Angel details Ken Smith's remarkable journey from choirboy on HMS Victory to the Royal Marines and then the Special Air Service/ Special Boat Service - the book is written by Ken Smith's son Colin who will be giving the talk.

The second is by author Amanda Prowse at 7pm, on Friday 13th September at Mortehoe Village Hall - Amanda is an International Bestselling author whose thirty novels, two non-fiction titles and seven novellas have been published in dozens of languages around the world.
