Thank you to Watermouth Castle and Family Theme Park for inviting us to the opening of their new play area, Hobbledown Bay, yesterday!
This new facility looks amazing, and the local school children who were amongst the first to use all appeared to be having a whale of a time! It was a beautiful sunny day, and the gardens looked stunning with their Spring blooms in abundance. It was lovely to wander around and reminisce about taking our own children to Watermouth Castle (they are all too grown up now!) and it’s nice to see the new owners haven’t made lots of changes; it has certainly retained its quirky charm, and the new attractions being introduced are very much in keeping with the castles’ character. Thanks again for inviting us (and for the delicious local ice cream!)
