What a lovely festive weekend we've just had here in Woolacombe!
Saturday saw lots of families taking part in our Woolacombe at Christmas Village Treasure Hunt - thanks to everyone who took part, including the local businesses who contributed to the prize fund ... Winners of the Treasure Hunt will be on the Woolacombe at Christmas Facebook page shortly!
Then on Saturday evening, we had a visit from Santa and his elves, who did a tour of the village handing out sweets to children watching along the route. This was followed by Christmas Carols at Bar Electric ... the snowmachine on the terrace proved very popular with the kids (and adults!) making everyone feel very festive.
On Sunday we had the Woolacombe Christmas Craft & Farmer's Market in the Village Hall (organised by Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre) - 20 stallholders selling a variety of local produce, crafts and more. Our thanks to all the stallholders, and to Braunton Young Farmer's who provided hot drinks, bacon rolls and mince pies.
