Mortehoe has a car park in the centre of the village.

Closest parking to the beach. Charges vary depending on the time of year, from £5 per day to £12 per day. The Esplanade Car Park offers an 'Early Bird' Scheme, meaning visitors leaving before 1pm, or arriving after 4pm benefit similarly. These car parks are operated by Parkin Estates, and parking fees help provide professional lifeguard cover, clean public toilets with disabled and baby-changing facilities, and an beach excellent cleaning and litter collection service.
No overnight parking permitted.

Additional Beach Parking
Marine Drive Car Park (Long Stay) - Operated by the National Trust from 1st April 2025.
Located along the back of the beach above the sand dunes.
The National Trust will start charging on Friday 4th April 2025.
A daily charge will apply from this date, all year round. The price will vary according to the time of year, but will start at £8. Payments can be made by cash or card at the car park entrance.
National Trust Members will be able to park for free. You can join the National Trust at Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre.
No overnight parking permitted. Maximum vehicle length 6m.
Become a member of the National Trust at Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre on The Esplanade. We are open Monday - Saturday 10-3, then from 16th March, we will be open every day - 10am-3pm until end of March, then 10am-4pm in term time, and 10am-5pm in school holidays. We just need a few details, including name, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, and bank account details - you can set up either an annual or monthly direct debit. Prices start from £4 per month for a Young Adult, or £8 per month for an individual (over 25). Pop in to the Tourist Information Centre for more details.

Woolacombe Down Car Park (National Trust)
The car park is located just at the top of Challacombe Hill (go up Challacombe Hill and turn right, the car park is on the immediate right) and is free to Blue Badge Holders and National Trust members. For non-members, the cost is £1.10 for 1 hour, £2.20 for 2 hours, or £4.40 for the day.
No overnight parking is permitted.
The car park is perfect for exploring Woolacombe Down, Potters Hill, and even Baggy Point if you are looking for a longer walk - the views are incredible!
Join the National Trust at Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre to get free parking in the new car park, as well as at many other locations including Baggy Point at Croyde, Heddon Valley, and Lorna Doone valley. Prices start from £7.40 per month.

Overnight Parking
Overnight parking is limited in Woolacombe, as the main beach car parks are closed overnight, and The Esplanade is a designated Clearway from midnight - 6am.
Overnight parking is available in the Woolacombe Bay Hotel Overflow Car Park in the centre of Woolacombe - charges apply 24/7, and varies between £1-£2 per hour, depending on the time of year.
Overnight parking is also available in Mortehoe Village Car Park - the car park is free overnight. If you wanted to leave your car for multiple days/nights, 4 or 7 day permits are available online https://www.northdevon.gov.uk/parking/parking-permits - prices start from £15.
There is limited overnight parking in Woolacombe village centre outside the shops - please read the signs carefully as some roads are for residents only. You would have to move your car during the day, as there is a time limit on how long you can park for.
